October 16–19, 2026 · Opens Friday at 6 p.m. and closes Monday at 6 p.m. Eastern.
How to enter
- Explore the books, links, ratings, content notes, and drink pairings, looking for anything that seems incorrect or isn’t working properly.
- If you find an issue, select “Report an issue with this book.” on that book’s page. Choose the issue type and explain what needs attention. For general website problems, use our Contact form and identify the affected page or feature. Only submit a report if you find a specific issue; no report is needed if everything looks right.
- Include both your email address and a specific description of the issue. Reports missing either will not be entered in the drawing. No screenshot is needed.
Each qualifying report earns one entry, with no entry limit. Submit one issue per report. Reports from different people about the same issue count; repeating your own report does not earn additional entries. Thoughtful, good-faith reports count even when we decide no change is needed.
No purchase necessary. Entry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Open to eligible U.S. residents who are 18 or older and the age of majority. Read the full rules below.
Official rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor and eligibility
The giveaway is sponsored by Jacinta Meredith and Daniel Meredith, operating Book Bartender at bookbartender.com. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 and the age of majority in their state of residence. The sponsors, members of their households, and anyone helping administer the giveaway are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
2. Giveaway period
Entries open October 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern and close October 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern. The timestamp recorded by Book Bartender’s submission system determines when an entry is received.
3. How to enter
During the giveaway period, submit a report through “Report an issue with this book” on a Book Bartender book page. For general website problems, use the Contact form and identify the affected page or feature. Every entry must include a valid email address and a specific description of the issue. Reports missing either will not be entered in the drawing. Submit one issue per report. No screenshot is required. Qualifying reports include incorrect or broken retailer links; inaccurate descriptions, ratings, content notes, or other listing details; typos, display problems, or features that do not work as expected; and drink pairings that do not fit a book’s content, setting, or tone. Replacement drink suggestions must explain why the proposed drink more accurately reflects the book. General drink preferences or suggestions without an explanation of their connection to the book do not qualify.
4. Entry limits and review
Each qualifying report earns one entry. There is no limit on the number of different issues a person may report. Different people may receive entries for reporting the same issue. Repeated submissions of the same issue by the same person count only once, including submissions made using different email addresses. Specific, good-faith reports qualify even if the sponsors determine that no change is needed. Report accuracy or whether a suggested change is adopted does not determine the winner. Spam, automated submissions, fabricated reports, and attempts to manipulate the drawing are ineligible. The sponsors will apply these published criteria when reviewing entries.
5. Prizes
Three different winners will each receive one $20 Amazon.com electronic gift card. Total prize value: $60. Limit one prize per person. Gift cards are subject to the issuer’s applicable terms and restrictions. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash by the sponsors. No purchase or payment is required to receive a prize. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.
6. Drawing and odds
The sponsors will conduct a random drawing on October 20, 2026, from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period. Each eligible report represents one chance in the drawing. After a winner is selected, that person’s remaining entries will be removed before the next selection so that three different people can win. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received and the number submitted by each entrant. If fewer than three eligible people enter, one prize will be awarded to each eligible person.
7. Winner notification
Potential winners will be contacted at the email address included in their reports on October 20, 2026. They must respond within 72 hours of notification and confirm eligibility. If a notification is undeliverable, a potential winner does not respond within 72 hours, or the person is ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected randomly from the remaining eligible entries. Gift cards will be emailed within seven days after eligibility is confirmed. Book Bartender will never require a payment, purchase, password, or payment-card information to claim a prize.
8. Privacy
Submitted information will be used to review reports, administer the giveaway, verify eligibility, contact winners, and deliver prizes, consistent with Book Bartender’s Privacy Policy. Entry does not subscribe anyone to marketing emails. Reports and email addresses will not be published as part of the giveaway. Any public identification of winners will be limited to a first name and last initial, with their permission.
9. Technical problems and fair administration
The sponsors are not responsible for submissions that are not received because of technical or transmission failures. If a technical failure or abuse materially compromises the giveaway, the sponsors may suspend or modify it as reasonably necessary and permitted by law. Any material change will be announced on Book Bartender, and eligible entries already received will be preserved where feasible.
10. Platform and brand disclosure
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, or Meta. To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases Facebook, Instagram, and Meta from liability arising from this giveaway. Entrants provide their information to Book Bartender, not to Facebook or Instagram.
11. Questions
Questions about the giveaway may be submitted through Book Bartender’s Contact page. By entering, participants agree to these rules.
