Book 3.5 of the Coastal Guardians series
208 pages · First published 2023
When Coast Guard Investigative Service Special Agent Logan Perry learns that his beloved grandfather has been murdered, he rushes home to Cauldron Creek, New Mexico, determined to uncover the truth. His teammate and close friend Emmy Thorton refuses to let him face the investigation alone, even though both have secretly fallen in love with each other and neither knows how to confess it. Logan has another reason to keep his distance: a painful secret he fears could destroy any future they might share. What initially appears to be a robbery gone wrong soon becomes a tangled investigation involving deception, elusive clues, and an increasingly dangerous killer. As the threats escalate and their lives are placed in jeopardy, Logan and Emmy must rely on each other while confronting the feelings they have kept hidden for so long. This fast-paced Christian romantic suspense novella brings the Coastal Guardians series to a thrilling conclusion with murder, mystery, friendship, and a love worth risking everything for.
