Justice Delayed
Book 1 of the Seeking Justice series
Melender has spent seventeen years in prison for the disappearance and presumed murder of her young cousin Jesse, a crime she insists she did not commit. Disgraced reporter Brogan sees her release as a chance for an exclusive story and begins examining the old case alongside her. Questions suppressed by the original investigation expose danger for anyone willing to reconsider the accepted verdict. Tense and faith-conscious, this romantic suspense novel suits readers who enjoy wrongful convictions, cold cases, investigative journalists, and uneasy partnerships in which finding justice may also offer two wounded people a path toward redemption.
