Hearts Aweigh
Book 2 of the Love Overboard series
320 pages · First published 2025
Cruise-ship childcare worker Abby O’Brien loves caring for vacationing children, but longs for a husband and family of her own. She welcomes help from the Shippers, four seventy-something friends whose shipboard retirement includes an enthusiastic sideline in matchmaking. Divorced lawyer Spencer Randolph Masterson boards the MS Buckingham with his young daughter intending to persuade his mother to move home—not to fall in love. When someone threatens to expose a secret from his mother’s past, the Shippers must juggle protecting their friend with finding Abby her happily-ever-after. Sunny romance, meddling matchmakers, and a thread of mystery make this a cheerful vacation companion for readers who enjoy grumpy-meets-sunshine chemistry and faith-filled fresh starts.
