314 pages · First published 2016
Freya Hunter has built a glamorous career as a fashion model in New York City, but returning to her hometown of Enchantment Bay, Oregon, for a funeral brings her face-to-face with the life she left behind. When she meets Nico Valentin, a handsome police sergeant investigating a suspicious death, an unexpected attraction makes her brief visit considerably more complicated. As Freya discovers a painful family secret and worries about her struggling twin brother, she finds herself torn between the career she loves and the people who need her. With danger and complicated relationships threatening her chance at happiness, Freya must decide whether returning home could lead to the future she never expected. This sweet coastal romance is especially suited to a sunny afternoon on the porch, a relaxing beach day, or any time you're craving family secrets, small-town charm, and a heartwarming love story.
